I have a WD passport essential 500GB drive.
It boots on smartware VCD partition formatted extended Mac and I have to password unlock the passport drive which is NTFS formatted.
I am using a MacBook with OS X10.12
The drive is not writable with the MacBook as it is NTFS. On the other hand it is not seen by any Windows PCS as it boots on the extended Mac partition.
I need to remove the extended Mac smartware partition so I can connect it to a pc to backup the files on it before trying to reformat on exFaf.
Can’t find any software to do that for my OS X 10.12 and when I use the uninstall program on the smartware partition it gives error.
Any idea how to solve this?
