My WD My book for PC was working fine a couple months ago and yesterday I tried to access it again but my computer did not read it. Computer management shows Disk 1 WD and it reads not initialized but when I try to initialize it, it says “incorrect funtion” I tried to find some firmware update but I was not able to get one for my Book USB 2 2T. Anybody that can sugest what to do? I have tons of files on that drive that I can not afford to lose.
guszu, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
