Can no longer access My Cloud Home WDBVXC0040HWT-00

I need help.
It seems I can no longer access my My Cloud Home. In doing research it seems there was an update which disabled my device. I need to know how to access my device.

I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.5
My Cloud Home WDBVXC0040HWT-00

I tried connecting My Cloud Home directly to my computer using a USB to USB cable, but I can not connect it.

I need answers but I am not computer savvy so I need simple instructions.

I tried doing:
Finder
Go
Connect to Server
