I have MyBook. The Help screen is unclear as to whether I can do both types of backup, albeit at different times. It suggests (vaguely) that you can set only one or the other preference. Which is it?
You can only set one type of backup to a single partition. For example if your computer has two drives or one drive in two partitions like C:\ and D:. You can do a category mode backup for the C:\ partition and a file mode for the D:\ partition.
