Hi WD Community.
I’m looking for a 2-disk external drive that can mirror drive 1 onto drive 2, preferably in real time, without RAID. That is, just write twice when writing.
OR, if that’s not possible, at least let me see the two drives independently, as if I had two stand alone external drives, so that I can use software to write to do the mirroring.
As a bonus, it would be nice if they were formatted NTFS - again with no RAID overhead - so that if I want to I can remove one and install it into a Windows PC or any other drive enclosure and access it that way.
Would the My Book Duo fulfill this?
