Can I use a single drive to back up my PC and iPad?

Hi

  • I use win XP Pc and and iPad 2

  • I’m planning to buy a backup drive - say 1 TB, WD

  • Could I buy a single drive and use it to back up both (I am confident the size of 1 TB would be _more_ than sufficient) 

  • …and …could I also back up a BB phone using the same drive  ? [phone has a very small - 4 GB or so disk and so the space again, isn’t an issue]

  • Pleae suggest software / apps etc that may be needed to accomplish above tasks

Yes you can

is just that you have to find a way to get the files from the iPad to the drive

the software that comes on the unit will not work
