Can I suppress the Discovery pop up window?

I’m just wondering if there’s some way to keep the discovery pop-up window from appearing on my mac’s desktop every time it wakes from sleep? It’s not a big thing, but I just don’t need it to appear until summoned.

Hi John_Nolan,

You can disable the “Start on system startup” from Preferences options in WD Discovery, this will not allow WD Discovery screen to pop-up when computer wakes up from sleep.

Hello,

I find this feature rather bothersome. I would strongly prefer it just stay in the background instead of popping up every time I wake from sleep. I have “Start on system startup” disabled and it still pops up.

Does Discovery need to be running for me to access My Cloud Home drive from my Mac? I don’t need yet another invasive piece of software.
