Can I only backup to external usb drives with WD smartware pro?

I have an Antec Easy SATA drive bay which allows me to install and eject 3.5" drives  to my PC without opening the case. There is an internal cabl;e that connects to a sata port on the motherboard.

I use\d to run Norton Ghost and save backups to the drive in this removable bay, but WD Smartware only shows the usb drives on the PC. (I just bought a MyBook). Is there any way I can have backups go to the drive in the Antec bay?

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

With my experience with the Software I have not seen any option to backup to an internal drive, only USB drives, if the the drive does not show up on the list of drive to backup to, you will not be able to backup.
