Can i make new WD 4TB mypassport to 4 partition?

i had bought wd passport 4tb few days ago, just want to ask all of you opinion, can i delete the factory setting 3.6tb partition, and make new 4 partition, each one is 1 TB? Will it cause any damage? hope to have your reply soon…thank

You can partition it however you want.
