Can I group some of WD's My Passport folders into one folder?

I have recently purchased a WD My Passport Ultra Metal drive and would like to reorganize its root directory to facilitate easier retrieval of files. Would it be permissible to move some of the six WD folders out of the root directory and placed in a newly created root directory (e.g., WD Various)? I would guess that the “bin” and “Extras” folders should remain in the root directory.
