Can i format?

first sorry for my english

i just bought a passport 1TB usb3.0 and without formating or using it on the PC i conected  the drive to a samsung smart TV ue46es6710.then i used the TV function and formatted the passport.

the problem is that when i try to use the passport on my PC, it ask me to format the drive but when i try to format i get a message that " the disk in drife J cannot be formatted"

any advice?

Check your TV manual many of them need the drive partitioned FAT32. You might get faster help in TV section too.
