Can I directly insert my harddisks from My Book Duo to My Cloud EX2?

I would like to ask, i was using My Book Duo 8TB + 8TB harddisks linked with JBOD and my My Book Duo is out of order recently. Both harddisks in My Book Duo is still functioning. Can I directly insert my 8TB + 8TB harddisks linked with JBOD to the case of My Cloud EX2?? Will the HD data in the JBOD 8TB + 8TB harddisks can be recovered by this method?? Thank you.

I have a similar situation. Purchased a MyCloud EX2 Ultra case - can I just insert my 2 drives from my MyCloud Gen 2 Mirror? Any special set-up?
