The photos get copied to my WD drive but none of the screen snapshots go.
Some of these are my way of ‘photographing’ something.

Don’t recall if you can select more than the default picture directory with the WD mobile apps. The easiest solution, since apparently one cannot change the snapshot save location on the iPad is to move the snapshots into the picture folder the WD apps use.
No problem when using the My Cloud app to upload from iOS device Camera Roll. Perhaps you are using the old app called My Photos and it ignores the screenshot files (which are PNG files and not JPG.)
Start using the current My Cloud app, and just upload the Camera Roll. I do notice that when viewing the uploaded PNG files via My Cloud app, there is not a thumbnail as there is with photo JPG files. WD ought to fix this in app.
