Can I connect one Gdrive to two Imac simultaneously?

hi,

So I have 2 iMac on which I need to share Gtech dirve.

Can I connect a single Gtech 12 TB Thunderbolt 2 drive-by thunderbolt cable at one end to 1st iMAC and with another Thunderbolt cable to 2nd iMac ?

Reason to do it— > This way my editors sitting on both iMacs can have access to same drive on the respective desktop and can edit faster.

Looking forward to pro/cons for same too.

No, you will only be able to attach it directly to a single computer at a time.
