Can I connect my ShareSpace drive to my PC and have it appear as a USB drive?

In addition to its designed network use, I’d like to be able to connect my ShareSpace to my PC and have it appear as a USB drive.

Is that possible?  Do I just connect the front USB port to my PC’s USB port?   Do I need to do anything else?

The ShareSpace is a network-only drive. The USB ports on it are to attach additional storage devices to the ShareSpace so you can share them on your network.
