Can I ask about the My Book Live product?

Hi,

I have just ordered this My Book Live device lately, and I can see that this device need to be installed straight into the internet router back home to secure your own computers and datas. However, I live in the house with many people. So what’s gonna happen when I installed this into the router, llike the speed for the internet to another computer will change or not? and how does it affect to the internet speed for my computer?

ALL of the people in the household will at least have access to the PUBLIC share of the device.   There’s no simple way to disable that.

That said, it won’t have any bearing on the speed of PCs or the internet.
