I was looking at my MBL and thought it couldnt map the drive through the WD Discovery software because the gateway was note correct, so I changed the gateway address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254.  I got an warning and I proceeded anyway. After it saved the changes I can no longer see the drive through the discovery program, nor can I access is using the static IP that it was assigned.  PLEAS PLEASE help!

I hard wired the drive using a CAT5 cable from the MBL to my computer and ran the WD Discovery software but I still can’t see hte drive.  Please help!

1)  read the user’s manual

  1. do not do anything that you don’t understand

You need to reset the MBL to factory settings.  Follow the instructions in teh user’s manual on how to do this.
