I pulled this 2017 drive out of a Mac PowerBook that I discarded, and I’d to plug it into my current MacBook Pro M2. I see Amazon has data cables, but I am not seeing anything for power. I also have a SATA-to-USB C connector.
Does anyone know of a cable or a sled that would let me attach this thing? (By the way, I call a “sled” those trays for installing a disk drive, with their own internal connectors for data and power, then some kind of external connector for sled-to-computer.) I see Amazon has data cables, but I am not seeing anything for power. I also have an eSATA-to-Thunderbolt connector.
I’m not going to spend much as after these years of non-use I doubt there is anything worthwhile on it, but it could be an interesting view into the past.
Thanks.
