Bundled Acronis True Image for WD software fails to recover backups from WD EX2 Ultra

I backed up regularly using backup software provided - Acronis True Image for WD to EX2 Ultra network location. But when time came to restore I acted as described here Acronis True Image: how to restore the system to the original disk from within running Windows | Knowledge Base - it just fails after reboot to Linux with tons of logs and nowhere seen how to recover with a flash drive. One that it creates contains just plain OS with no sign of recovery software able to use created images.

Needless to say, I can’t remove drive from that machine - it is a tablet. Encrypted with bit locker.

Now - kill all this messy Acronis stuff and replace it with Windows Image Recovery, or there is a solution to my problem?

I can provide logs to tech support privately.

I did like described in the article.

Howerver, it just fails and fails to recover anything.

I have AMD Ryzen 5 5600 / x570 based setup, maybe because of that.
