The fact that a bug that affects that many devices manged to get past SQA is one thing (people make mistakes). Your complete lack of accountability and willingness to support the gear that was broken is unforgiveable.

amen. NEVER update firmware from these people. it took my a year to fix the freezing/lock up my original firmware had. i fixed it through this boards genious w/o help of wd staff.
