Broken white light

My White light model has stopped working.

All it does on powering up is the bottom LED comes on and I can hear something inside (presumably the disk) and thats it.

It has done this a few times in the last week but all other times it has come back after being unplugged for 30 mins or so.

If it is dead is there anyway of extracting the information from it.

I am a competent user but NAS is completely new to me.

Have you tried testing the power adpter on that issue?

If not call wd tech support. Most likely you also would have to contact a data recover company for data recovery
