For the past several months when we turn on the WDTV Live it takes ages before it gets to the main screen. It will generally go through several screens including the WD logo and plain black ones
Once on the home screen it then has the message along the top its gathering data again
I am running the latest firmware. Is this an issue with the latest version?
maybe try putting the device to sleep instead of off
power button less than 5 seconds = sleep
power button for 5 seconds = off
it’s it’s off, it’s obviously got a lot more to do
when you turn it on again
