Blinking Power light on WDTV live

Hi, would like to know if anyone has had this problem and maybe a solution.

When I power on my player the logo appears on the screen but goes no firther. The power light keeps blinking.

Does it blink the “S-O-S” pattern?   (Three long, three short, three long?)  If so, the hardware failed diagnostics.
