The mybook250gb I have is not working. I haven’t used it in about 4 months but I never had this problem before.

The front circle light is flashing but the drive isn’t turning and my PC is not recognizing it. What does this error message mean how can I fix the problem?

Do a little bit of basic troubleshooting:

  • Check the cable.

  • Test your drive in a different computer.

  • Replace the power adapter.
