Black m. 2 compatibility

I have a Asus extreme rampage 6 motherboard and a Intel i7 2066 CPU the compatibility issues maybe with the Western digital black m.2 that I want to buy on compatibility chart it says only with the I-9 is that right or wrong?

and a sn750 1TB with no issues
