I have a faulty drive not recognised by any software. I obtained a replacement pcb with the same board number (2060-771640-003) but a different rev (new one is Rev A, mine was Rev P1)
In the process of moving the old bios chip to the replacement board, a leg broke off (that’s a new on on me!)
Is that the end of the road for this disk drive now, or is there any other option? I’m wondering, is the rev number on the board the rev number of the bios, as in, if I get a rev P1 board, will that work in my drive?
