Best WD HDD for Workstation

I’m looking for the best WD HDD to use as secondary memory for backup and data storage in an assembled workstation. Budget isn’t my priority problem and I thought to buy a WD RE (WD2000FYYZ) because I want a Professional solution and the top quality but I read about TLER and now I’m confused. Now I want know if technically an WD RE is a good choice for me or I must look for another series of WD HDD…

Hi, I would go for the RE as these are designed for 24x7 operation in data center environment which should be fine working on a workstation.

Thanks for reply. My only doubt is about TLER. It isn’t a good thing in a no-raid environment so the alternative can be a WD black. Don’t you?
