Best way to observe MyBook size / available space

What is the best way to observe the size of available space on a MyBook product?  I use Windows 7 and would like to see the same kind of pie display it has for other drives - if this is available.  (I’m new with features of MyBook and am beginning to look at functions like this.)

My Book USB or My Book LIVE (NAS?)

Live

I’m not sure what you mean by Pie display, but network shares are shown in Windows 7 the same way as a connected USB or internal drive…

Select Drive C: and right click for “properties.”  This should show a pie chart for that drive.

Does the same thing for me for network drives…

Then that’s my issue.  The procedure to show the pie chart does not work here.
I have a Windows 7 machine.

So what do you see when you right click the mapped drive?

A screen with a tab marked “MyBookLive Properties”

This is followed by sections titled “Device Details” and “Troubleshooting Information”

The “Device Details” shows model AP1NC

There is nothing listed that would tell me anything about the free space left on the drive.

You’re not clicking a mapped drive.   You’re right clicking the device icon.

What do I have to do to see the size or available space report?
I have more than one Windows 7 computer using the MyBook product, which is connected to a router.

This was resolved with a proper mapping of the drive. It’s one of those things a beginning user needed to sort out.
