I think there is something wrong with my 2TB My Book 3.0, what utility should I use to check for errors? Should I use chkdsk in Windows, or is there a specific WD tool I should be using?

I use HDD Tune, but yes… You may want to start with chkdsk first.

Thanks, I’ll check out HDD Tune. Should I do a read-only scan or should I have it set to fix errors automatically?
