Benefits of Upgrading to G-Raid & G-Dock?

Hi, I work for a small company that processes a relatively high volume of photos and videos each week. We record 350-500 GB per event and hold two events per week. We currently use a single 4TB G-Drive USB on site, bring these back to the office, and back everything up to 2 or 3 different 4TB G-Drives that stay in the office. We sort and organize the media on the back up before copying to our server to deliver to our customers.

My question is would we benefit significantly from moving to a G-Raid & G-Dock workflow? and which products should we look at?

Up until now we have kept a single G-Drive on site to save photos to and back videos up to. However, we plan on implementing a second (smaller) drive that will be an on-site backup.

Due to the volume of media we deal with and the mobile nature (on site & working on different computers in the office) we consider higher transfer speeds and flexibility to be a necessity. However, as a smaller company, we also need to balance price points.

The Dock won’t be worth moving too as it is low capacity.

The G-RAID however, might be something to move to. You could convert the G-RAID w/ Thunderbolt drive to a RAID1 and it would mirror. Giving you essentially a backup of the data transferred to it at all times. In the event a failure ever occurred on the unit the drive would still mount as the other drive would continue working.
