HD Tune gives me a warning: Current Pending Sector 1, Current 200 Worst 200 Threshold 1

WD Data lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows says "Quick Test on Drive 1 did not complete! Status Code =07 (Failed test element), Failure Checkpoint = 97 (Unknown Test), Smart Test did not complete.

The drive is only a year and half old.  It’s under warranty but it seems I dont have very good luck with drives except with Hitachi drives. I’ve had to RMA WD, Seagate, Fujitsu. I dunno what’s up with the constant issues. Arggh.

Call WD request another drive model.

Is it that easy? I somehow doubt it.  They’ll tell me that all they can do is give me a working model, 

BTW, I forgot to mention that  I also received a multiple Windows 7 Event Errors: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk5\DR5.
