the backup with WD SmartWare does not work anymore. I got a falure message on my computer, that the connection to WD SmartWare failed.
When I opened WD SmartWare there is mentioned, that a log-in is necessary for the backup object “SmartWare” or “TimeMachineBackup”. However my user name and/or password are not accepted. Nothing happens. There is no possibility to reset my log-in data.
Does someone know how to reset the log-in data?
Are you performing the backup over the network? are you using the Pro version?
Yes, I do it over the home network.
It’s just the basic version.
