Backup win and linux files

I have a video home security system with a Linux os. I also have a PC running Windows 7. Can I backup both to my MY Book 3 TB?

As long as you can partition the drive on a file system that supports both operating systems, it is possible. Make sure you can verify a file system than is compatible with both.
