I own a WD Passport Pro portable device. Its transfer rate is extremely slow. Please advise

Hello,

Are you using the drive on a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port? have you tried using the drive on a different PC?

thanks for your prompt reply. This is what I’m experiencing with WD Passport:

unable to remove or eject
backup in an endless copy loop
unable to erase with WD utilities
any action change messages witih - “another program is using WD drive, etc.”
WD utillity drive test fails
