Backup seems to run for hours/days with virtually no progress - how to check backup activity


I am running a backup of specific directories using the latest version of Smartware.  The first time I ran it after installation, it seemed to be moving along pretty well.  The fan on the PC was going off and on, but at least things were moving.  However, I had to stop the backup and Disabled it temporarily.  After returning, I tried starting it again.  Now, it seems that it is not moving at all.  Is there a log file or something that can tell you what the progress is?


Hello, on the backup tab you should see how far along is the backup, if you don’t see any progress after a while, try closing any programs that might be using the files that you would like to backup.
