Backup over the Internet via two My Cloud Mirror

Hi,

I’m looking for a solution that allows me to make back up in one direction over the Internet using one or two My Cloud Mirror 4TB gen 2 (the My Cloud Mirrors will be placed in two remote locations connected via the Internet). My question is: do I need to buy two My Cloud Mirror 4TB Gen2 or is it enough to buy one My Cloud Mirror 4TB Gen2 and one “regular” My Cloud?

Hi, you need to have 2 My Cloud Mirrors or one of the upper EX, DL series.

So I can use one My Cloud Mirror and one of EX or DL series (the losing mirror function on one side) or two of either EX or DL series?

You can use two of either EX or DL on each side as well. By getting one of the EX or DL you will still be able to use RAID 1 (Mirror).
