Backup Jobs don't get created

I have a My Cloud Mirror with an external HDD attached via USB port 1.

Firmware is up to date, the external HDD is FAT32 and I can see/access the external drive perfectly well.

In the Dashboard, signed in as Admin, I’ve created a NAS to USB backup job (name < 8 characters, no spaces).
When I hit the “Create Job” button, I get the “Creating Job” message and then go back to the Backups screen which does not show the Backup I just created.

This issue also exists if I create an Internal Backup - it appears to be created OK but the job doesn’t show up on the Back screen.

Anyone encountered this before?

You should do power cycle and reboot the device, then try to create a new USB backup job.
