Backup fails while creating system image

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud

Using Windows 7 Professional create a system image, a failure happens mid way through.
The error displayed is “The back up failed. The device is not ready. (0x80070015)”. The storage
device being used is a MyCloud 4TB drive.
