Backup data recovery

I am using a intel imac with  timemachine to backup to the WD MyCloud device. How do I recover the backed up data ?

Also how do I get the WD Dashboard to display ?

Apple’s website is a good source of information related to Time Machine:

To access the Dashboard of your WD My Cloud on a Mac, you can type its IP address on a web browser like Safari (For example, 10.0.0.10), or the device name (WDMYCLOUD by default) .local as a web address (WDMYCLOUD.local).
