Backup a Mac to MyCloud

I have had the My Cloud device connected to my network for several years. My Macs were backing up fine using Time Machine until I upgraded to High Sierra. Now Time Machine is not working so how is the best way to use My Cloud to backup my Macs or is there something I can do to get Time Machine to work again? BTW, my firmware is up-to-date. Thanks.

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base?

Have you looked at this in Apple?

Thanks for your response.
Yeah, I tried Apple support discussions. When Time Machines starts the back up process it looks for the disk then it says it’s preparing the backup but it never completes the process. I am at a loss for what to do but I need to make sure I have my computers backed up. It makes me nervous without them.
