I have a 1tb My Book Essential running on windows XP professional. I backed up files a while ago using the smartware software. When I went to retrieve my files, everything looked good except the smartware window had the RH side cut off, meaning that the retrieve button wasn’t showing to click on. I updated the software per the download instructions to version 1.3.0.16. Now the whole window is showing but when I go to the retrieve page the is nothing showing the the ‘backed up volumes’ box. I can see all my backed up files on My Book in windows explorer. How can I get them to show back up in smartware?
