Backdrops by season not episode

Hi,

I am having a problem where each episode of a tv show has its own backdrops, rather than the season/tv show. So when im browsing the episodes, the backdrop stops, goes black then launches the back drops for the next episode (usually playing from the start again.)

Is there a way to create a backdrops folder for the whole season, rather than per episode?

If you’re asking if you can use just one backdrop for the entire files in a folder, then Yes, sort of.  You can add a backdrop to the folder and then modify each metadata xml for each file to point to that backdrop.

However, this will not stop the “going black” issue when scrolling to the next episode.  This is how the firmware displays the backdrop for each file (it uses the photo slideshow function) and can’t be changed.
