Back up windows 7 - smartware

So i took the dive and bought a mycloud 3tb and have backed up three hard drives took two days but all is well aprt from the fact it look like its not back up the system files. System on c:/ in smartware is grayed out. Do i have to use the bvack up option on windows 7 pro to do a back up of the system over the nextwork or can smartware do this for me and if so how?

WD SmartWare does not copy system files. If a system/mirror backup is needed then I’d recommend using a different backup application.

Can I use SmartWare for file back up and then windows 7 pro back up for the image file?

Yes you can as long as you have sufficient storage space available.
