Back Up Two Computers With Different OS

I have two laptos; one with Windows 7, and one with Windows 8.1. I would like to know if I can back them both up on my My Book LIve?

Thank you for the quick response to my question, but I have another. To back up the Windows 8 computer, do I need to install the software on it as well? I am sure I would, but I am kind of slow when it comes to computers.

That is correct. WD SmartWare needs to be installed individually on each computer intended to run automatic backups.

WD’s software is one option. There are too many ways to do it, including Window build in tools for backup and restore.

Just do some internet searches if you so desire.
