Back up from 1tb passport to 500gb book

…first time here, so…

i want to (temporarily) back up from a 1tb passport to a 500gb book,

and am having problems doing this with the WD software from the passport, 

and i do not have the original software for the book

Hi there, either you do it manually (Copy and paste out the files from one drive to another) or try a sync software that works from external drives to external drives. The software that comes with WD drives does not allow you to copy from one WD drive to another.
