I have a WD Elements 1.5tb hard drive and i cannot copy AVI files on to it. I am using a Mac and I am able to copy the files onto a pen drive. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Elements comes formatted NTFS for Windows. You can reformat it for Mac. If you want to use on Mac and Windows both go to Apple and download NTFS-3G for your Mac and that will work as is. Depending on how you use the drive you may need a different format if you hook to some kind of video drive. Never trust important data to just one drive internal or external no matter who makes it.
