Do I need to use handbreak or is there an easy fix please?

I could be wrong, but I’m fairly sure the internet has been full of posts with people complaining that 3 warppoints files will not play on most hardware players.

All you can do is use settings that the WDTV will support when you make your encodes.

As far as I know, you’d have to reencode any files with 3 warppoints that you’re having troubles with.

You’d only need Handbrake if you want to convert the .avi into a .mkv file… if you want to stay with .avi you basically need to use whatever program you made the file with, but change the settings, and make the file again with settings that work.
