Automatically login from Mac

Hello, is it possible to be able to autologin to the HD locally? I am using a mac OSX 10.8.

Trying to auto login from my home network if I reboot my laptop or if the hard drive is rebooted. Instead of having to manually enter in my password each time.

It may be possible by creating a Login Item within the Apple Mac Operating System. The following instructions should allow you to create the Login Item:

  1. Open System Preferences and click on “Users & Groups”
  2. Select your user name from the list and then click the “Login Items” tab
  3. Drag & drop a mounted network drive into the login items list
