Auto expand capacity?

Hello,

if the System is full with 4x 2TB, is it possible to integrate 4 TB Drives part by part so as a result at last it expands the Raid 5 Part zu full capacity ? 

I ask here because to test and wait if it works cost really much time :-)

No it will not do that

You would need to make a copy of your data

replace the 4 drives

recover/reinstall

then copy your data back

so i entered 2 x 4 TB drives Slot 1 and 2, the result = Recovery INVALID CONFIG 

but why did they do this ? 

so i need  another 2 drives, what a pitti :wink:

ok my fault, it works !

the reason is, you have to build new usb sticks for every recovery try, because some files will lost in aktion…
