Authentication revoked

I have been using the IOS My Cloud app successfully for some years. In the last two months I regularly now get the message “Authentication revoked Authorization to this device is denied. Please enter a new activation code.” When on my home wifi network I can reconnect using “add device” and the password - no need for an activation code. However the reason for purchasing My Cloud was to be able to access photographs remotely from a private cloud - this now regulaly fails and I have to wait until back home - very frustrating.

As a troubleshooting step. What happens if you generate an authentication code and then connect using that code?

Thanks for suggestion - I’ve done that (deleting all cloud devices at same time - my phone was listed about 20 times). I will let you know how it goes. I usually get the ‘authentication revoked’ message about 48+ hours after connecting, suggesting a timer setting.
